Composer, born in Vienna

Studies of music at the Vienna Konservatorium (composition, piano, conducting)

Music style: modern symphonic music influenced by film music with elements of pop music and jazz. Many orchestral pieces sound like programme music.

Compositions: Musicals (e.g. Rainbow Girl, Toulouse-Lautrec, Il Principe), symphonic orchestra pieces and ballads.



Magdalena Hartl

Magdalena Hartl was born in Salzburg (Leogang) and studied musical and operetta at the Vienna Konservatorium. Already as a student she organized performances. Magdalena Hartl was part of the piece „Wild Christmas“ in the Interkulttheater Vienna and the Wiener Stadthalle, in „Anatevka“ and „My Fair Lady“ at the Aspacher Festspiele. Also, she was the punk in „Lucky Stiff – Tot aber glücklich!“ in Vienna. In Shakespeare’s „A Midnight Summer Dream“, she was Demetrius/Helena“ in Graz. Other pieces were „Mädchen in Uniform“, „Die Heilige Johanna Der Schlachthöfe“, and „Das Weite Land“. In 2011, she joined the band „Welcome – die Band!“ (Rock/Pop/Jazz) as lead singer. This year, Magdalena Hartl can be seen in “My Fair Lady“ in Bozen. She very much likes to work with children and youngsters, e.g. in musical workshops.

Beste Kalender

The Turkish mezzo soprano recently appeared in the title role of Bizet's CARMEN, Tancredi (by Rossini), Cornelia (Giulio Cesare by Handel), Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart), Mercedes (Carmen), Chambermaid (The Devil and Kate by Dvorak) and Kate (Pirates of Penzance by Gilbert & Sullivan). Beste holds a vocal diploma from Istanbul State Conservatory.


Vanessa Lanch

Vanessa Lanch studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and the Flanders Opera Studio in Belgium, is an Alumnus of the Britten Pears Young Artist Programme (Aldeburgh, England) and York University in Toronto, Canada. She debuted in 2008 as The Tart in Joseph Findlay’s in the contemporary opera Desire Caught by the Tail, then roles of Donna Elvira- Don Giovanni (Mozart), Giulietta- I Capuleti e I Montecchi (Bellini), and the Governess- The Turn of the Screw (Britten).


Sascha Ahrens

Sascha Ahrens was educated as a classical ballet dancer at Landestheater Salzburg and as a musical performer at Tanz - und Gesangstudio Theater a.d.Wien. After several engagements in musical theatre, comedy, classical - and show-ballet she is currently engaged as a teacher of Jazz-dance and Musical Interpretation at Vienna Conservatory and as choreographer for Austrian Television. She still enjoys performing with her band and for Musical Theatre Galas.


Florian Sowa

Florian Sowa, born in 1985 in Vienna, piano lessons since 1994, singing lessons since 2002. Active member of church choir Bruck/Leitha, regularly organises concerts in retirement homes.


Alexander Braunshör

Alexander Braunshör studied acting at Max-Reinhardt-Seminar, Diploma 1998; since then work in the Burgtheater Vienna, Residenztheater Munich, Theater in der Josefstadt, Theater der Jugend. Theaterworks, also in Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg. He works in theater, film, and music-theater.


Claudia Pichler

Claudia Pichler, born in Eisenstadt, studied Russian and English at the University of Vienna and the Pedagogical Univeristy of Moscow. Specialist for folk music from Burgenland; concerts of folk music; continuing vocal studies with Andrea Mellis.


Miruna Mihailescu

Miruna Mihailescu, born in Romania, began her dance training in Düsseldorf, Musical Theatre training at the Music University in Vienna. Musical Theater engagements in Vienna, Munich, Hamburg and Bremen. Currently engaged in the new production of „Hair“ in Bonn.


Stewart Granger

Stewart Granger is a Canadian tenor. Equally at home singing Musical Theatre, Opera and Concerts, he has appeared in "Der Freischütz", "They're Playing Our Song", "The Messiah" and recitals in Phoenix, New York and his home-town Toronto.


Julia Fuchs


Julia Fuchs is originally from Southern Germany and has been living in Vienna since 2009. She sang in several choirs and performed in "Der Eingebildete Kranke" and "Großstadtratten" in Germany.  


Lisa Feischl

Lisa Feischl studied dancing, acting and singing in Graz, Vienna und New York. She performed in several shows in theatre, opera and musical productions, such as Nonnsense, Hexen, Wintermärchen, Orpheo, Anatevka, Carousel, and Jesus Christ Superstar.


Raffaela Gassner

Raffaela Gassner, singer and teacher for voice and breathing technique. From 2000 – 2003 she attended the School for Voice and Breathing Technique “Schlaffhorst-Andersen” in Germany. After 3 years of work as a speech therapist she has returned to Vienna, where she has opened a studio.



Steven Scheschareg

Steven Scheschareg, born in New York, studied singing, conducting, and acting at the Juilliard and Eastman Schools of Music. He sings at the Vienna Volksoper, in „South Pacific” and „Candide“. He has sung in operas, operettas and musicals throughout Europe with repertoire including Escamillo (Carmen), Marcello (Boheme), the Father (Hänsel und Gretel), Don Pizarro (Fidelio), and the Mozart roles of Figaro, Don Giovanni, and Guglielmo. Recently at the Bavarian State Opera as Lieutenant Redburn in Britten’s Billy Budd. He was awarded the George London Prize of the Vienna State Opera.



Walter Spanny

Walter Spanny studied at Performing Arts Studios Vienna and Millennium 2000 Theatre School in London. His engagements include Jesus Christ Super Star, On the Town and Kiss me Kate. At the moment he is studying singing with Andrea Mellis and works as Lead Vocalist in the Band "Katharina & die Stadtmenschen".


Christian Feldner

Christian Feldner, an Austrian tenor, brings 20 years of experience in choral and ensemble singing. He sang in the Oratorio Choir Lienz, the Cathedral Choir, the Domkantorei and the Chamber Choir of the University of Graz. As the tenor of the Gesualdo Quartett, he performed Renaissance music.


Lea Simone

Lea Simone has performed as a dancer, singer and actor in many different projects in the US and Europe including baroque music and opera, folk music, modern dance, Butho dance, experimental theater, and more. As singing teacher she works with students in New York and in Vienna. She has studied Singing with Edvin Szamosi, Jonathan Hart Makwaia, and is currently with Andrea Mellis.


Niklas-Sven Kerck

Niklas-Sven Kerck has taken voice and acting lessons from Andrea Mellis, and Jazz Classes with Miruna Mihailescu. In October 2011 he begins his studies in Musical Theatre at the Vienna Conservatory Private University.


Stefanie Rieger

Born in Styria she started singing and dancing at the age of 8. Her first stage experience  was at the age of 9 in “Aquarelius” a musical for children. Further work includes roles/ensemble work in Jesus Christ Superstar, Mozart, Tanz der Vampire, Im weißen Rössl.

For the musical „Toulouse –Lautrec“, together with Helmut Seufert, he has written the text for storyline and songs. Supported by the IAT, several of these songs were performed on different occasion, e.g. at the tsunami charity concert in Kreuzenstein.

Texter, dancer, actor and acrobat, born in Vienna


Among other activities, he was part of the „Catsproduction in Vienna in the Theater an der Wien. For the Musical Santera”, together with Erhard Forster, Andrea Hörmann and Peter Branka, he created the text for storyboard and songs.

Werner Alince

Texter, born in Vienna


For the musical „Rainbow Girl“, which was performed in the theater of St. Pölten in 1992, Werner Alince has written the text for storyboard and songs.

„Rainbow Girl“, is about the life of Marilyn Monroe. Also, he has produced the libretti for the musicals „Thompson Refrain and „Il Principe“.



Roland Baumgartner

Living in Untermarkersdorf; Roland Baumgartner started his studies with renowned Austrian artists already at the age of 5. At the Konservatorium Vienna, he took classes in piano, trumpet and composition. At the age of 18, he received his diploma. At the age of 21, he became the youngest director of the musical school Salzburg “Musikschulwerk”. In this time, the ballet “Bergsegen” was created. It was performed as world premiere by the “Royal Ballet London”, which was the start of Roland Baumgartner’s international career. In 1979, at the age of 24, he went to the United States to study composition with Leonard Bernstein. Amongst others, Roland Baumgartner created music for the following movies: „Deadly Games“, „Joseph`s Daughter“, „Ali Baba“, and for the TV series „Tatort“, „Die Gerichtsreporterin“, „Peter Strohm“ and others. In Austria, his musical „Romy und Sisi“ was performed in Mörbisch. Other pieces are „Wintergarten“, „Missa Pacis“ for the „Linzer Klangwolke“ in 1995 and the symphonic rock musical „Excalibur“ in 1998.
